Chinese major Huawei is planning to announce Ascend P6 in the coming weeks. The company has planned to announce their new flagship device on June 10. To create curiosity in advance, Huawei posted a teaser video as well. According to multiple reports, the Huawei Ascend P6 measures 6.18mm in terms of thickness. Few days ago, an alleged image of Ascend P6 was revealed. It is touted to be the slimmest handset available in the market. The handset was spotted on GLbenchmark website too. While, GizBot tried to contact Huawei's top executive based out of India. Unfortunately, the senior executive wished not to reveal anything.
Highlighting company's upcoming handset, Richard Yu, feels this has to be the best smartphone ever launched.
"You know, after using the P6 more and more, I've begun to notice how nice the side keys were designed and good it felt to press them," writes Yu. "Their positioning along the edge felt just right and natural. They aren't protruding out too much so you don't have to worry about the wrong button being pushed when it's in your pocket, nor are they too flat that they're uncomfortable to feel."
The Chinese telecom company making its presence felt on Facebook to woo young crowd. The Facebook post, reads, "Stay tuned and see what's coming. Huawei make it possible".
As of now, the specifications are not yet out. But one can always rely on leaked internals. The Ascend P6 will have a 4.7-inch display with resolution of 720p, 1.5 GHz Hass K3V2 quad-core processor, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, 2GB of RAM, a 5MP of rear facing camera, Dual SIM Emotional UI 1.6, and 8GB of internal memory. It is said to be priced around Rs. 16, 600 in the International market.
In the recent times, major Chinese companies such as Lenovo and Huawei among others are on expansion spree. Last week, Lenovo announced its flagship handset - K900 in India.
