Rumors are already starting to surface around the company's next big-ticket smartphone, the Ascend P8. The original Ascend P7 has been on the market for quite some time, and now the team behind the best looking Android smartpghone is rumored to be working on its successor.

Huawei Ascend P8 Tipped To Sport 5.2 Inch HD Display

It doesn't take too much time to think that CES 2015 could be the platform where we might get to see the Ascend P8 in full action.

More recent leaks, purportedly showing that the forthcoming Ascend P8 will have a metal body, with a "porcelain texture" rear back cover. Furthermore, Huawei would like to use 2.5D glass, similar to what Samsung has used for the Galaxy Note 4.

Expect the Huawei Ascend P8 to sport a 5.2-inch Full HD display. The company's next-gen flagship device is rumored to use a HiSilicon Kirin 930 SoC built on TSMC's 16nm process. The chipset will sport an octa-core processor, according to the leaked report.

Huawei's Android-based smartphones are reasonably priced, and the upcoming Ascend P8 will be no different. Rumors suggest that the fancy Ascend P8 is expected to cost under $500 or Rs. 30,000, which sounds pretty competitive.
