Huawei has announced very recently that their Huawei Asura smart phone will be available by the month of April in 2012. The phone will be launched with the Vodafone carrier and they would retail through Vodafone’s stores and through the companies websites from April. The phone will be initially made available in numerous European markets and also in New Zealand. The device would be termed as Ascend G 300 when it is marketed with this carrier network.

This is a moderately specked phone that packs in a very good processor and the provision to upgrade to the latest version of the android operating system in the near future. Phone will have android Ginger bread operating system at launch but can be updated to Ice cream sandwich OS in the future. The 4 inch screen of the device throws in a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels.
This is enough clarity for the user to enjoy short videos and pictures in this screen. The camera in the device has a resolution of 5 mega pixel. It is enhanced with features such as auto focus and LED flash. The processor in the phone is clocked at 1 GHz. The phone has 2 GB of internal memory and an external memory card slot using which the expandable memory can be expanded to up to 32 GB.
There is no word on whether Huawei Asura will be launched in India. The price tag of the device is also not known as for now.
