Huawei technologies Co. Ltd have introduced a quite number of mobile phones in the market and quite many of them where able to achieve a very good sales figure. The latest mobile from Huawei is Huawei G7005. This is a full touch smart phone and is designed in a bar dorm factor. The device has dimensions of 93 mm x 51 mm x 14.2 mm. The gadget weighs in at about 75 grams only. When most of the mobile phone devices in the market weigh more than 100 grams a phone under the 100 gram benchmark is very impressive. The phone being light does not men that it is light in features. Huawei G7005 is packed with all the needed features and has a good spec list. The phone comes in a black and silver color combination. Silver is the predominant color with the whole back cover being silver and there is a dash of black in the sides. The front portion around the display is also black. The design and the color combinations make the phone look very trendy.

Huawei G7005 is a 2G device and works in GSM 850/1900 and GSM 900/1800 networks. The 2.4 inch display is of TFT LCD touch screen type. The screen offers a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels with a pixel density of about 167 pixels per inch. The screen can provide 2, 56, 000 different colors too. The device has multi touch features also. There is a single camera and it is placed in the rear, at the top. The camera has a resolution of 1.3 mega pixels. It can capture images of resolution of up to 1280 x 1024 pixels. The camera has video recording features too and can record videos with a maximum resolution of 176x 144 pixels. It lacks a LED flash, so that makes it a bit difficult to take photos in low light condition.

The phones internal memory can be used to store all the important and relevant information including phone book entries and the recent call records. The phone memory can be used to store about 500 phone book entries including photocall entries. The call list can contain a total of 60 records which include 20 dialed numbers, 20 missed calls and 20 received calls. The external storage memory can be increased by adding a memory card. The external memory can be increased to up to 4GB. Memory cards of the type microSD have to be used with the phone.

Huawei G7005 has connectivity options including GPRS and Bluetooth and also a USB port for wired data transfers. The phone feature class 12 GPRS having a transfer speed of about 32-48 kbps. The Bluetooth version in the phone is Bluetooth2.1.It has enhanced data rate features and has advanced audio distribution profile (A2DP) features. This enables high quality music, either stereo or mono, to be streamed into another Bluetooth enabled device via Bluetooth link. So the user can use a wireless stereo Bluetooth headset to enjoy music if he wants. The USB version in it is USB2.0. The phone has all the other common features in a multimedia device like a video and music player, in built FM radio, a WAP 2.0 browser etc.

The exact price of Huawei G7005 is not available but it is expected to be less than Rs.9, 000/- in India.
