Huawei Honor 3X Vs Micromax Canvas Knight A350: Is the Battery the Only Biggest Deal?
The year may still have a long way to go before the start of 2015, but we have already been treated to a large number of smartphones from a host of different manufacturers.
If a comparison can be charted, it will be seen that the smartphone business in India actually boomed compared to what it was even last year. So much so that the Indian market was actually ranked highly among others in the Asia-Pacific region.
However, the story could have been much different if not the likes of Apple, Samsung or Sony hadn't ever entered the market to try out their lucks. But while all the big names still exist, a number of smaller and upcoming ones are also making sure that their presence is felt.
Two devices currently sharing the similar kind of ideology while making the most out of the market are the new Huawei Honor 3X and the previously released Micromax Canvas Knight.
While Huawei's new device looks enter the smartphone race as one of the better smartphones you will see in the market, Micromax has already made quite the name for itself and one big example of that can be derived via the Canvas Knight handset.

Since both the devices are basically Android devices, so it's no surprise that both of them come running the Google-based Android Jelly Bean operating system. Although we are not sure if any of these devices will ever receive the KitKat update.
Huawei Honor 3X Vs Micromax Canvas Knight A350: Display and Dimensions
The Huawei Honor 3X sports a 5.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touch screen, while rendering 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. Also, the device's overall dimensions measure up to 149.5 x 77.4 x 8.9 mm.
The Micromax-made Canvas Knight A350, comparatively, comes with a slightly smaller 5-inch, although an IPS LCD, capacitive touch screen, while also rendering 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution.
Huawei Honor 3X Vs Micromax Canvas Knight A350: Camera
The Huawei Honor 3X, in terms of camera, offers a 13-megapixel primary camera, sporting a pixel resolution of 4128 x 3096 pixels, with autofocus and LED flash. The device also has a secondary 5-megapixel camera on board that's more than enough for conducting video chats.
The Micromax-made Canvas Knight A350, on the other hand, sports a slightly greater 16-megapixel primary camera, sporting a pixel resolution of 3456 x 4608 pixels, with autofocus and LED flash. The device also has a greater secondary 8-megapixel camera on board that will be more than just a camera that sits in the front of the phone.

New devices mean new horsepower and an similarly enabled hardware. And neither of these two are any different. While the Huawei Honor 3X is equipped with a octa core 1.7 GHz processor, its Micromax counterpart powers up the Canvas Knight A350 via a greater 2 GHz octa core Cortex A7 processor and Mali 450MP4 chipset.
Huawei Honor 3X Vs Micromax Canvas Knight A350: Storage and RAM
The Huawei Honor 3X offers 2GB of RAM to users while offering the device in a 8GB internal memory variant. However, there's the option to expand the device's memory up to 64GB as an external microSD slot for additional memory is provided.
The Micromax-made Canvas Knight A350, on the other hand, offers the same 2GB of RAM while offering the device in a much greater 32 GB internal memory variant. But there's no option to expand the device's memory since Micromax decided against offering any external microSD slot.
Huawei Honor 3X Vs Micromax Canvas Knight A350: Battery
While the Huawei Honor 3X juices up the Jelly Bean-powered device via a powerful 3000 mAh battery, the Micromax Canvas Knight A350 comes sporting a somewhat decent yet non-removable slightly lesser 2350 mAh battery.

While the Huawei Honor 3X comes with a price tag of Rs. 21,399, the Micromax Canvas Knight A350 has a price tag of Rs. 24,499.
Huawei Honor 3X Vs Micromax Canvas Knight A350: Verdict
Now this one is a mixed bag. The Huawei Honor 3X has the upper hand as long as only the battery and expandable memory are concerned. But apart from that, almost all the credits have to be given to the Canvas Knight for being an overall good phone.
And since the price difference isn't that big a deal, we are guessing that the Canvas Knight will have the better of the Huawei handset.
