Huawei is a recent entrant into the mobile manufacturing segment in India. The company however had a well established image in India in the telecom equipment manufacturing sector. The company has enjoyed quite a success in the mobile segment ever since it launched its first mobile handset in India. Today we take a look at two of Huawei's handsets of which one is already clocking in good numbers in terms of sale and the other is expected to hit stores anytime soon.
The models we are referring are the upcoming Huawei Vision and Huawei Ideos Chat. They both seem to be destined for 2 different categories altogether as it is evident from the specs and features found in both.
Huawei Ideos Chat is a touch and type bar phone which has a funky physical QWERTY keypad in addition to a 2.6 inches touch screen display that is capacitive in nature. The Vision has a 3D interface which is easy and interesting usage pattern of swiping to navigate through pages and menus.
Vision embarks on the fact that it is meant for a higher class audience as it offers a 5 Mega Pixel camera with LED flash in comparison to the 3.2 Mega Pixel of Huawei Ideos Chat and interestingly offers 720p video recording as compared to the VGA capabilities of the Ideos Chat.
On the technical specifications chart both the phones offer 3G, Wi-Fi and 2G internet access technologies as well as connectivity options like Bluetooth and USB PC connectivity. They both have a fairly good multimedia content support and come with decent internal storage ability in spite of offering up to 32 GB of expandable memory support via a Micro SD slot.
