Today, we're getting a closer look at the Huawei Mate 8 that's being speculated to launch at the annual Mobile World Congress (MWC) in the beginning of March this year. The handset has been rumoured for months, but today a new alleged image of the device has been leaked online.
Rumours and media reports have hinted at a new purported handset from the house of Huawei, dubbed as the Mate 8. Now, in line with the latest rumours, a leaked image which apparently displays the Mate 8 has just been leaked ahead of the anticipated launch.
The leaked image of the Mate 8 hardly shows off any incremental differences between the originally released Ascend Mate 8 and the upcoming device. As per the alleged photo, it seems that the Mate 8 shouldn't be too different compared to its predecessor.
At the same time, no mention about the technical-specifications of Huawei Mate 8 has been made within leaked images.
As per recent reports, Huawei could be considering the replacement the word "Ascend" from its range of smartphones shortly. It should come as no surprise if we get to witness the Mate 8 alongside the launch of P8- yet another smartphone form the Chinese telecom giant.
Apparently, Huawei is considering to launch the successorof the Ascend P7 in the first half of 2015. The handset in question is rumoured to sport a 5.2-inch FHD screen, an octa-core Kirin 930 chipset and 3GB of RAM.
The above leaked spec sheet, though unofficial at this point in time, is a clear indicator of the high-end nature of the speculated phone from Huawei.
