Huawei Sends Out Invite for MWC 2013 Event: Hints at Ascend P2 Launch Packed With 8 Core Processor

After making waves with Ascend Mate 6.1 inch monster, Huawei is all set for a cool ride. On the lines of Korean giant Samsung, Huawei is all geared to set the making Octa Core processor ready smartphone. The company could possibility announce - Ascend P2 , a device featuring Octa-Core processor at Mobile World Congress (MWC) slated to be happen later this month at Barcelona , Spain.

 

This can be said as the tech media world is receiving invitation from Huawei people for the big MWC announcement. The invite says that "Please save the date to join Huawei Device at the 2013 Mobile World Congress as it unveils products, performance goals and possibilities for the year ahead". This could mean that the company is prepping a strong product that will be futuristic like - Ascend Mate 6.1, an over sized smartphone having 6.1-inch display.

 

Few days back, Engadget reported that Huawei plans to launch next- generation of devices, from company's ever growing tech basket. The slim trip next- gen device from Huawei would be an inch thinner than Alcatel's One Touch Idol Utra: the thinnest smartphone announced by the company at CES, 2013.

This year, Sammy, also announced that they are coming up with 8-core smartphone. The Exynos5, an Octa Core from Sammy has two quad-core SoCs. It would be interesting to compare the chipset involved with Huawei's unannounced smartphone against Samsung's Exynos5 chipset.

GizBot brings out the possible features of Huawei Ascend P2, a smartphone with Octa- Core processor under the hood, which includes a 5.5-ich 1080p HD display, 2-3 GB of RAM, 3,000- 3,600mAh battery, 32/64GB of internal memory, 4G LTE, 3G, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 as basic connectivity options, 13-mega pixel camera, Thinner than Alcatel One Touch Idol Ultra( stands at 6.45 mm) and lastly, an Octa- Core processor - Unknown at the moment.

Recently, the makers behind Ascend D2 announced a Windows Phone: the device known by the name of Huawei 4Afrika is a low-cost phone and will sell in as many as seven African nations. The Chinese handset manufacturer is currently the No.3 smartphone maker in the world by units. The company is eyeing to take Samsung and Apple dominated territories with bundle of high- charged smartphones this year.
