Huawei P6-U06: Word's Slimmest Handset Further Stripped in Leaked Images

Chinese major Huawei has grown from a small time handset manufacturer to world's top five leading vendor. The company has a decent presence in its home country. In the beginning of year, the smartphone vendor has unleashed two hotties: Huawei Ascend Mate 6.1, and the Ascend D2. The former handset is set to land in the Indian market soon under Rs.30, 000. Both above mentioned handsets were pegged as company's ticket to US and European market.

Now the market is abuzz with reports stating that Huawei is prepping world's slimmest and thinnest smartphone. Last month, some purported images of the handset were leaked on the internet. The device was caught red handed in white color. The Huawei P6: U06 has got approval from Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center MIIT in China. So, the device is expected to announce in China anytime soon.

It measures just 6.18mm, and easily beats Alcatel One Touch Idol Ultra. This time around French site Nowwhere Else got their hands on the device. The handset as seen in the leaked images provided by French site gives us a clear view about the handset. And this time - Black colour of the handset got stripped. The Huawei P6:U06, is extremely thin, and features a 4.7-inch 720p HD display, 1.5-GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, and Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean out of the box. In the imaging department, it is unknown whether it will have a 5-mega pixel or an 8-mega pixel rear facing camera, and 2-mega pixel front facing camera. Other features include: Wi-Fi, 3G, expandable memory, USB 2.0 A-GPS, GSM/WCDMA network, and expected to grace in White, Black, and Pink colour.

The device comes with a 6.1-inch 720p HD display, 1.5-GHz quad-core processor, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, 2GB of RAM, an 8-mega pixel rear camera, 1-mega pixel front facing camera, Wi-Fi, HSDPA, A-GPS, Emotional UI, and weighs 198 grams. It also boats a 4,050mAh battery fitted inside. It should be priced under Rs.30, 000.
