The Huawei P8 Max is a super sized version of its recently launched flagship device: the P8. At just 0.26 inches thin, the P8 Max is one of the slimmest large screen sized handsets onto market today, compared to the iPhone 6 Plus (0.28 inches) and the Galaxy Note 4 (0.4 inches).

Metal Design
The P8 Max has a confusing design - it falls between the tablet and smartphone. At 6.8mm slim, the device is not oversized, but it would be difficult to use - at least one handed. On the positive side though, the P8 Max has a solid, long lasting metal-clad design.

1080p Screen
The monster phone comes with a 6.8-inch display with a resolution of 1080p. The makers have used a Full HD display panel instead of a 2K resolution screen. On top of it, Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protective coating should protect the screen from scuffs and scratches.
Powerful Processor
Like the P8, the Huawei P8 Max is powered by Huawei's in-native Kirin 930 chip. Yes, this 64-bit, octa-core chip should be enough to handle multitasking commands. Well, the phone is backed up by 3GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB internal storage options. Both versions will sport a microSD card expansion and are available in single and dual SIM options.

Improved Cameras
Again, like the P8, you'll find a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with OIS, alongside a secondary 8-megapixel front-facing camera. This is a new a 4-colour RGBW sensor, supplied by Sony.
Software
The Huawei P8 Max runs a home baked version of Google's latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. Huawei's Emotion UI has been massively improved over the past few months, so we're expecting far better performance on the Huawei's latest handsets.

Battery
The P8 Max has a massive 4680mAh battery inside. According to the company, this should offer 2 days of backup on a single charge.
Our Take
The P8 Max might not make a huge dent onto the market. That's because of its conflicting design. It seemed just too large to be used as a daily driver.
The P8 Max will cost around $581 (approximately Rs. 36,603).
