Huawei Sold 75 Million Smartphones in 2014, Enters Top 100 Global Brands List
Huawei might be a "nobody" infront Samsung, Apple, Xiaomi and others but, this is one smartphone company who is planning each and every move of theirs carefully and strategically. In this Fierce competition, the outcomes seem to be quite fruitful for Huawei. The China-based giant just posted its financial report for 2014, and from the overview we can see a successful run and rise in the graphs.
Huawei just revealed that its revenue has increased 30% in 2014. As a whole, the company has brought $12.2 billion home a record-breaking result, as Huawei claims it has never before crossed the $10-billion revenue mark. The culprits for these outstanding financial results are the 138 million sold devices, both feature phones and smartphones. As far as smartphones are concerned, the company saw profit on 75 million units, which is a 45% increase in comparison with 2013, which is a pretty impressive bump in the results.

"Our strategy of focusing on premium mid- to high- end products has borne fruit, with 2014 resulting in significant achievements in a number of areas including product R&D, brand awareness, channel development and growth in market share which further consolidated our number three position in the global smartphone market. The global influence of our brand has continued to grow, and Huawei has become the first mainland Chinese company to successfully enter Interbrand's Top 100 Global Brands of 2014 list," said Mr. Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei.

As per the device list, four million units of Huawei Ascend P7 got sold during the first six months of its existence in the market, and roughly two million units of Ascend Mate7 got sold across the globe. The lower-positioned Honor line of devices also proved to quite successful branch of the list, amazingly roughly around 20 million units sold.
Huawei will be focusing on the sales of high-end along mid-ranged smartphones wishing to sell over 100 million smartphone this year.
