Rumors are rife that Huawei is all set to steal the spotlight at the upcoming IFA 2014, the tech show which is held in Berlin every year. This time its happening between September 5-10. Reports in the past, have already outed that the Chinese smartphone maker will come up with its latest flagship in the same event..
And just now, reportedly it has been confirmed that Huawei has already started sending out press invites to the tech media world. According to the invite Huawei event will take place on September 4 in Berlin, on the eve of the IFA trade show, where the company teases to launch a new smartphone.
The invite doesn't reveals anything about the smartphone in anyway. However, it simply reads, "Empowering a Future of exciting possibilities" and that is not just enough to even make an assumption of what might be launched. Since the company is already rumored to come up with several devices, out of them, looks like at least one could make up to the IFA 2014.
One which is highly expected to be unveiled at the tech show in September this year is the Ascend Mate 3, which has already leaked quite a few times in the past.

Talking about the specs, taking cues from the rumors and leak that took earlier this week via AnTuTu benchmarking site, the phone is expected to sport a 6-inch full-HD display, a 13MP and 5 MP front-facing camera. It is also expected to be powered by Huawei made octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 920 processor and run Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS out-of-the-box.
Apart from these specs, rumor has it that the smartphone will also feature a very thin bezels, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of on-board storage and LTE connectivity.
Ongoing reports have also pointed out that in China, Huawei is also set to release its yet another Honor-branded smartphone. The latest we've seen so far in the series is the Honor 6, which got official in June 2014.
This unknown phone comes packed with a 5-inch touchscreen with 720p resolution, a MediaTek MT6582 chipset with a 1.3 GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU, 1GB of RAM and a 2MP rear camera.
