Huawei TalkBand B2 Announced For Asian Countries, Coming to India Soon
Chinese handset manufacturer Huawei has started its event in style by announcing the successor of TalkBand B1 in an event being held in Bangkok today. Code named as TalkBand B2, a device which can be used as both fitness band and as a smartwatch comes with major improvement over its predecessor.
Now, with the Talkband B2, users will be able to swipe through many variants of display screen, stopwatch, sleep tracker, pedometer and calorie monitoring.

Talkband B2 sports a 0.73-inch AMOLED display and supports a Bluetooth headset which can be used to make voice calls. In the charging department, it houses a MicroUSB port, unlike USB2 port which is equipped on Talkband B1.
Moreover, this fitness band uses Bluetooth 4.1 to connect to your smartphones. As of now it supports iOS and Android platforms.
The TalkBand B2 runs on Huawei's proprietary OS and is powered by a 90mAh battery, which offers 7 hours of talk time, 5 days on average use and 12 days standby-time.
The Talkband B2 comes with 6-axis sensor, which detects your activity like walking, running or cycling using your speed and distanced traveled and assess the results against goals you have defined in Huawei's companion app.

TalkBand B2 comes in two variants, namely leather and Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). Anyhow, the leather variant is only a splash resistance, meanwhile the TPU variant is rated under IP57, which will work under 1m under water, marking up to 30 minutes.
Coming in a choice of Black, Silver and Champagne gold, the price of Talkband B2 price is not yet officially announced but, the Talkband B2 will be available in India starting from next month.
