Huawei Tipped To Launch Honor X on July 22
When rumors about Huawei's upcoming handset, the Honor X, surfaced a few days back, we wondered whether the new device will be enough to take on Xiaomi's upcoming Mi 4.
As of now, the details surrounding the Honor X have been kept under tight wraps. Though the company has already clarified the new device will be launched on July 22.

From the way things are going, the Honor X could end up being a premium device with expansive metal chassis and a super fast quad-core processor under the hood.
There isn't much information about the new handset from Huawei, the company declined to provide inside information, not even whether it will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
It is likely that Huawei will introduce its Honor X to take on the Xiaomi Mi 4 and ZTE Nubia Z7. Moreover, Xiaomi, which is the fastest growing smartphone player in China, co-incidentally plans to introduce the Mi 4 in China on July 22. The sudden unveiling of a new phone from Huawei dubbed Honor X on the same day, which itself signals a way to hog limelight from Xiaomi.
Huawei Honor X - What to expect?
As mentioned earlier, there's no concrete info available about the launch. Anyways, the phone might come with a 5.5-inch FHD display. It will be powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM, 13MP rear-facing camera and a 5MP front-facing shooter, amongst others. The phone will reportedly run on Android 4.4 Kitkat with Huawei's Emotion 3.0 UI layer on top.
