Huawei Set To Launch New Ascend P8 in April
Huawei's next big thing is around the corner. Some of the information about the Ascend P8 has been circulating for months, but now it seems that the device will finally be unveiled in London on April 15.
The Ascend P8 global launch is going to take place in London in the middle of April this year, as per Jerry Huang, Huawei's Director of Marketing Communications.

During a visit to Huawei's campus in Shenzhen, the folks over at Trusted Reviews got to know about Huawei's upcoming plans, including the release date of the Ascend P8.
There have been ton of rumours suggesting Huawei would launch its next flagship at this year's MWC 2015 in early March, but those rumours have now been died.
We still don't know much about Huawei's plans for the next big update to its P series, but it looks like one major change could be the branding used to sell its new smartphones.
The Chinese smartphone maker may shift its focus towards premium segment in 2015. It expects more than 30% of its consumer devices shipped this year will be priced above 2,000 yuan ($320), up from 18% last year, notes the Wall Street Journal.
The tech giant from China believes that most low-cost vendors from China will vanish in three to five years, as there are too many local brands.
Huawei has a dominant position in China and other Asian markets. Now, the company is slowly and gradually moving towards the high-end of the smartphone market, currently dominates by the likes of Apple and Samsung.
Huawei, which astonished the tech industry with 75 million smartphones sold last year, aims to ship 100 million units this year.
