iBall Launches Dual SIM Andi 4.5H: Specs, Price, Competition and More

Following the launch of a tablet - iSlide i6516, iBall has made an attempt to expand its Andi smartphone lineup by launching a dual SIM smartphone - Andi 4.5H for Rs 12,490. Back in October, the company launched a smartphone with dual battery - Andi 4.3j and now it has come with Andi 4.5H.

At the launch event, Sandeep Parasrampuria, Director of iBall, proudly said, "iBall Andi 4.5H is a power-packed, technology loaded smart phone which offers stunning display, superb speed and seamless performance with its powerful processing and Big RAM. We are sure it will be extremely high value to every user with its exciting features and latest technology. We hope it will be a benchmark in smart phone segment."

Specifications

Display: Andi 4.5H flaunts a 4.5 inch qHD IPS display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels.

Processor: When it comes to processor, Andi 4.5H is equipped with a 1GHz dual core Cortex A9 processor.

OS: Andi 4.5H is flavored with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich OS.

Camera: The handset comes with an 8MP rear camera with auto focus and LED flash and a 0.3MP front camera for video calling.

Storage: iBall offering has 4GB internal storage capacity and 1GB RAM. Also, there is a micro SD card slot supporting expandable storage.

Connectivity: The handset is packed with connectivity features including 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and micro USB 2.0.

Battery: Andi 4.5H is loaded with a 1,600 mAh battery with a decent backup.

According to the company, the Andi 4.5H comes with pre-installed apps including Whatsapp, Facebook, Opera Mini, Nimbuzz, Zomato, IBNLive, Moneycontrol and CricketNext.

iBall has priced Andi 4.5H competitively at Rs 12,490, thereby positioning it as a mid-range smartphone.

Competition

When it comes to competition, the iBall Andi 4.5H has pretty decent specifications for its price tag. However, it is not the only mid-range smartphone to have such specs as several companies have already launched similar handsets.

Latety, Lava came up with a dual SIM smartphone called Xolo A800 with featuring a 4.5 inch IPS capacitive touchscreen display with 960 x 540 pixel resolution, 1GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6577 processor, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, 8MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, VGA front facing camera for video chatting, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage and expandable memory option up to 32GB via microSD card.
