iBall Andi 4Di+ Launched at Rs 6,399 with Dual Core CPU: Top 5 Rivals

iBall, the maker behind Andi4a Projector phone, has come up with a low-end Android handset in India. The handset which comes dubbed as iBall Andi 4Di+ features a 4-inch display and a dual-core processor. Its predecessor was launched way back in July, the Andi 4Di.

The handset had a 4-inch display and a 1GHz single-core processor. iBall Andi 4D+ offers decent internal hardware at a fantastic price point. Priced at Rs. 6399, the release date is unknown at this moment. GizBot expect the handset to hit retail and online stores soon.

The Andi 4Di+ comes with a 4-inch IPS WVGA display having a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. It is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core Cortex A7 Processor coupled with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory (expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card slot). Android 4.2 Jelly Bean comes out of the box. The makers have added a 1700mAh battery fitted inside.

There's a 5-megapixel rear facing camera with LED Flash and a VGA quality front-facing camera. The phone also offers enhanced features such as Flip to mute and Auto Call recording.

Other connectivity options includes: Dual SIM, Bluetooth with A2DP, Wi-Fi, 2G (EDGE), 3G, FM Radio and lastly A-GPS, amongst others. The Andi 4D+ will be available in Black color only.

iBall Andi 4Di+ vs. Andi 4Di

As mentioned above, the Andi 4Di was launched way back in July. The phone is still available in the market at a price of Rs. 5599. Does it make sense to go for a cheaper priced Andi 4Di or wait for the availability of iBall Andi 4Di+.

The iBall Andi 4Di comes with a 4-inch IPS display having a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The phone is powered by a 1GHz Cortex A9 single-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM and 512MB of ROM (expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card slot). There's a 5-mega rear camera with LED Flash and a VGA quality camera on the front. The makers have added a 1,700mAh Li Ion battery fitted inside. Android 4.0 ICS comes out of the box. Other connectivity features include: 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, A-GPS and Bluetooth, among others.

The Xolo A500 flaunts a 4 inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The dual SIM handset comes equipped with a 1GHz dual core processor under its hood. Likewise other budget offerings in the country, Xolo A500 are also flavored with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS. The handset sports a 5MP rear camera and a 0.3MP front camera for video calling. Xolo A500 is packed with 4GB internal storage, 512MB RAM and a micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB additional storage. The handset comes with Bluetooth, GPS, 3G, Wi-Fi and micro USB 2.0 connectivity features. The Lava offering is loaded with a 1,500 mAh battery.

Intex Aqua N2

The Aqua N2 comes has a 4.0-inch WVGA display having a resolution of 800 ×480 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory (expandable). Android 4.2 Jelly Bean comes out of the box. There's a 5-megapixelrear-facing camera with Auto Focus and LED flash and a 1.3MP front-facing shooter for long video chat. The makers have added a 1400mAh battery. The dual SIM phone offers other notable connectivity options: 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, A-GPS and FM Radio.
