iBall Andi 5c: Specifications, Price, Competition and More

India-based tech firm iBall who recently roped in one of the most renowned celebrities of the nation, Kareena Kapoor for launching their latest Android ICS based phones – has now launched a new dual SIM smartphone named iBall Andi 5c. Going by the likes of competitors including Wicked Leak, Spice and Micromax – who recently unveiled their massive smartphone offerings to the market – iBall has released Andi 5c with a giant 5- inch display and Android ICS on board.

Key Specs

As far as other specs of Andi 5c smatphone are concerned, along with 5 inch IPS capacitive touchscreen display and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, the handset also features a 5MP camera with autofocus and in-built flash, 1GHz Cortex A9 processor, proximity sensor, G-sensor and a light sensor. It is also equipped with connectivity features like HSUPA 5.76Mbps, HSDPA 7.2Mpbs in-built GPS and 3G. In addition, Andi 5c is powered by a 2,300 mAh battery, which the company claims will provide enough battery backup.

Besides these specifications, the company officials have reportedly informed that Andi 5c will come packed with features like face unlock, control over network data, a gallery app with photo editor, red-eye remover, redefined notification panel and multitasking functions.

Price & Availability

Being a budget smartphone manufacturer, iBall has priced its latest offering – Andi 5c at an affordable price of Rs 15,999. At the same time, the handset can be bought at a best buy price of Rs 12,999.


A lot of 5-inch display 3G Android smartphones are getting into the Indian smartphone market.

Following that, Wicked Leak Wammy Note – a 5 inch phablet also got released recently at a price of Rs 11,000. With that being said, the iBall Andi 5c will pose a direct competition with Wammy Note.

Talking about specs, Wammy Note features a 5 inch Super HD capacitive touchscreen display with 800 x 480 pixel resolution, 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM and 4GB internal, a micro SD card slot supporting 32GB expandable memory, 8MP rear camera,1.3MP front camera, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a 2,500 mAh Li-ion battery.

However, the Wammy Note is priced at Rs 11,000, which is relatively a better offer as compared to iBall Andi 5c.
