iBall Andi 5K Panther Launched for Rs 10,499: Budget Octa Core Smartphone Fight Gets Fiercer
Indian smartphone and computer peripheral hardware maker, iBall has today launched its latest smartphone dubbed as Andi 5K Panther at the price of Rs. 10,499 and is available via eBay.in.

This is the first octa core smartphone coming from iBall and it is comparatively the cheapest octa core smartphone to buy in India. The company is offering the Andi 5K Panther in Silver and Wine color variants.

iBall Andi 5K Panther: Key Specifications
iBall Andi 5K Panther features a 5-inch capacitive touch screen display offering a qHD resolution of 960 × 540 pixels. It is powered by a 1.4 GHz octa-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS.

Taking photographs will be made easier with the 8MP Auto Focus Rear Camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera as well. Connectivity options include 3G (HSDPA: 42 Mbps; HSUPA: 11 Mbps) , Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP, GPS and USB OTG. Obviously, it is a Dual SIM handset with Dual Standby.
It houses 8GB of internal memory, and it is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card and comes powered by a 1900 mAh battery.
Competition
There are several other octa core smartphones that are available in the Indian market. But these devices are pretty expensive than the recently launched iBall Andi 5K Panther. However, there are few under Rs. 20,000, which you might want to take a look at.
These devices are Obi Octopus S520, iBerry Auxus Nuclea X, Alcatel One Touch Idol X Plus, Karbonn Titanium Octane and Karbonn Titanium Octane Plus. Moreover, the most important and most potential rival against the latest iBall smartphone is a Wammy Neo Youth from Wickedleaks which is priced at just Rs. 8,450.
