One of the Indian smartphone makers which has excelled in producing potential handsets in the affordable price range is iBall. The company has a rich collection of smartphone in its portfolio. Now adding one more to it, it has launched Andi5T Cobalt2, which is obviously the successor to the company's Cobalt iBall Andi 4.7G Cobalt from last year.

The latest iBall Andi5T Cobalt2 comes along with three swappable covers in red, blue and white in addition to the original coffee colored cover. It is priced at MOP or best buy price of Rs. 11,999 and the MRP is Rs. 12,499.

Specs-wise, the samrtphoen is pretty decent and is worth the money as it comes with a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display based on one glass solution (OGS) technology.

It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core Cortex A7 processor coupled with 1GB RAM and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) (Upgradeable to KitKat).

It has a 12-megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The device supports the Full HD 1080p video playback.

The latest iBall product comes with 4GB internal storage capacity which is expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card.

Connectivity option is pretty average with the inclusion of 3G (HSDPA: 42 Mbps, HSUPA: 11 Mbps), WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. But you will also find Dual SIM (GSM + GSM) support in the device.

It has flip to mute, auto call recording, smart answer, dial from SMS directly, dial from contact directly, shake to answer, voice control for phone, camera and alarms and more new features.

The smartphone which measures 146×73.5×8.9 mm and weight 144 grams comes powered by a 1750 mAh battery which is not exactly up to the mark. The company could have used a higher capacity.
