Even after launching four smartphones this month, Indian smartphone maker iBall is not quite done with its new devices, as it has yet again launched one more device in the domestic market called by the name of Andi4 IPS Tiger. The device which is being offered in black color is priced at Rs. 6,299 online. Just a day ago, the company released its two affordable handsets called Andi4 IPS Velvet and Andi4 IPS GEM.
If you have been following the smartphone launches that are taking place in India and especially from the India-based manufacturers, You will clearly see a cut-throat competition in the low-end or affordable market.
Micromax has already threatened the Motorola's Moto E sales by launching its latest Unite 2 handset with Android KitKat flavor and quad core processor. Moreover, the company priced the handset at Rs. 6,999 and the interesting part is that, it is coming with one more handset called the Canvas Engage which is even cheaper than the Unite 2 and this one will also be offered in Android KitKat flavor.
Coming back to the recently launched iBall Andi4 IPS Tiger, although it is priced at the same range, it doesn't quite fit the lot due to the lesser specs that the company has used in it. However, it comes with a 4-inch (480 x 800 pixels) touch screen IPS display.
It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor coupled with 512MB RAM, and it runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) OS. The smartphone comes with a 5MP rear camera with LED Flash and a front-facing VGA shooter.
