iBall Launches Dual Battery Andi 4.3j: Price, Specs, Competition and More

iBall has added another new smartphone to its Andi lineup – Andi 4.3j. Claimed by the company, this smartphone has taken the credit of being the first dual battery smartphone that is launched in the Indian market. Moreover, the dual SIM handset is priced attractively at Rs 9,499 in the budget-conscious market.

Commenting at the launch of Andi 4.3j, Sandeep Parasrampuria-Director, iBall said, "We are excited to launch for the first time in India a dual Battery smart phone. Battery backup is the major problem to the smart phone users. Realizing the high utility of smart phones, long hour chatting and longer browsing we have launched this stylish dual battery phone to provide unhindered and seamless usage."

Display: Andi 4.3j sports a 4.3-inch capacitive display.

Processor : The handset is powered by a 1GHz ARM Cortex A9 processor.

Operating System: Like any other budget Android smartphone, Andi 4.3j also runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS.

Camera: Andi 4.3j has a 5MP rear camera and 1.3MP front camera for video calling.

Storage: The handset packs 2GB internal storage, 512MB RAM and a micro SD card slot that supports additional storage up to 32GB.

With the specifications and price range mentioned above, the new iBall smartphone will pose a threat to the dual SIM Micromax Pixel A90 smartphone with a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display, 1GHz processor, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, 8MP camera with LED flash and 1600 mAh battery.

Moreover, Micromax A90 will be priced at Rs 12,999, which is marginally higher when compared to Andi 4.3j with a price tag of Rs 9,499.
