The quotient about the device is that it is one among the first lot of devices which comes powered by an octa core SoC. As of now, there is a major progress taking place among the chipset makers, not only in terms of core numbers but also the SoC's capability to support various actions or features. The current trend is coming up with a chipset which will support the 4K resolution.

As said earlier, the major highlight of the iBerry smartphone is its octa core MediaTek MT6592 processor which comes clocked at 1.7GHz which will surely allow the users to multi-task on the device. Also SoC uses a True octa core solution where all the 8 cores are simultaneously used as opposed to the ones that uses only 4 cores at a time.

Also add a competitive 2GB DDR3 RAM coupled with the chipset and a Mali 450-MP4 GPU. The new octa core smartphone comes running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box (Upgradeable to higher versions via OTA).

It houses 16GB of internal memory which can be further expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card slot.

Moving on to camera, there is a 13-megapixel rear camera with an Auto Focus and a LED flash and BSI sensor. Interesting as it may seem, the smartphone features an 8MP front facing shooter as well, which would be a rare thing to be seen in the mobile phones in the current market scenario.

No, it doesn't have LTE support (incase if you are wondering) but it comes with a regular connectivity options like 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, NFC and aGPS. Apart from that the Auxus Nuclea N2 comes with a dual SIM support (microSIM + Regular SIM).

The device which measures 145.6 x 79 x 8.5 and weighs 189 grams draws its power from a 3,500mAh Lithium Polymer battery.

Competition

After taking a look at the specs of the Auxus Nuclea N2, it is pretty obvious that most will think of it as a high end device like the Galaxy Note 3 or even the Galaxy S4 or S3 from Samsung. The device has a great specs but the company has not elaborated on the features so far. Moreover, the price of the device is also marked at a pretty affordable range (with such specs). Thus in the line of competition, domestic manufacturers like Micromax, Xolo, Karbonn among others will be definitely affected with the advent of this new device because at the given price point only these manufacturers have a healthy devices. The new Auxus Nuclea N2 will also stand against Samsung's Galaxy Range of devices like S3, S4 and Grand series.
