Idea Launches Dual SIM Aurus 4 Smartphone At Rs 8,999: 5 Hard Hitting Rivals

India's leading telecom operator Idea Cellular has recently launched their latest handset called the Aurus 4 in the Indian market. The successor of the Aurus 3 that was launched earlier this year is currently riced at Rs. 8,999.

Moreover, the company has also attached an alluring offer with the device. For Rs 259/Rs. 261, Aurus 4 users can get 250 MB and 1.6 GB of 3G data and Idea TV subscription free for the first 3 months. Idea users interested can purchase the handset from all major mobile retail stores and Idea outlets across India.

Lets take a look at the specs of the newly launched Aurus 4 :

It comes with a 4.5-inch capacitive touch screen display offering a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. Powering the device is a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM, and it runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS.

It has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing shooter as well.

Connectivity options remain regular with 3G (HSDPA 21 Mbps; HSUPA ), WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS support. Apart from these, it comes with dual SIM (GSM + GSM) support with dual standby, similar to its predecessor.

The device houses 4GB of internal storage capacity out of which only 1.4GB is accessible to the user. However, the memory is further expandable up to 32GB with microSD card. The device is powered by a 1800 mAh battery.
