These days, India-based smartphone vendors are not leaving any stone unturned to capture the sub-Rs 10,000 market segment. Micromax, Lava, Karbonn have launched slew of smartphones running Android KitKat OS and now Intex is gearing up to occupy the trending category.
Today, Intex has already launched a new Android KitKat running smartphone under its Aqua series - Intex Aqua Curve Mini at Rs 7,290.
As per the company press release, Aqua Curve Mini smartphone is mainly targeted towards students and young professionals living in tier 2 and tier 3 cities in India.
Aqua Curve Mini: Key Specification
Aqua Curve Mini sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS Curve display offering a resolution of 854x480 pixels and is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1 GB RAM and runs on Android KitKat OS. Buyers will also see the presence of 4 GB ROM, 8 MP rear camera, 2 MP front facing camera with gesture sensor and voice photo capture etc., 3G, Bluetooth, WiFi and Dual SIM support. It is powered by a 1500 mAh battery.
Aqua Curve Mini will be available at all Intex retail stores, hypermarkets and leading e-commerce portals across India at the price of Rs. 7,290.

The pricing and specs of the latest Intex phone is such that the it will have to rival against several smartphones that are currently available in India at the same price range with KitKat flavor. Aqua Curve Mini will have to battle against the likes of Moto E, Micromax Canvas Unite 2, Micromax Canvas Engage, Celkon A35K, and Xolo Q600s among other.
