Intex Aqua HD Launched At Rs 15,900 Featuring Quad Core CPU and Android Jelly Bean
After launching their latest Aqua i7 smartphone recently, Intex has again introduced its newer smartphone called Aqua HD through an online retailer Infibeam at Rs. 15,900. Intex is continuous pushing its boundaries towards mid range handsets and has successfully brought up these to devices with standard specs and features. However, the Indian smartphone arena already has a number of devices in the mid range price category. Most of these devices come from Micromax, Karbonn, Lava and Xolo.

The smartphone houses 4GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. And when it comes to connectivity, one can find a dual SIM (GSM+GSM) support in the phone as well. Apart from that, connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ aGPS and 3G.
Moving on to camera, Intex Aqua HD comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera capable of shooting videos at 1080p along with an LED flash. It also sports a premium 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
The phone is powered by a 1800mAh battery which delivers up to 5 hours of talktime and 300 hours of standby time.
To talk about in terms of competition, the recently launched Intex Aqua HD will surely have a tough time against devices like Micromax Canvas HD A116, XOLO Q800, Micromax Canvas 4, Micromax Canvas Doodle 2, Xolo Q1000, Karbonn S5 Titanium and Lava Iris 504Q. All these devices actually come with the similar specs and all are powered by a quad core processors. More importantly, these devices are cheaper as well compared to the Aqua HD.
Even Aqua i7 which was launched at Rs. 21,990 few days ago will have to face the similar heat for the same domestic manufacturers.
