Interesting part is that the Aqua i5 HD, comes with beefier specs when compared to the predecessor but comes prices at a much lower price, which is Rs 9,990. The launch was held at a Delhi-based event and the company claims the new offspring will rock the affordable smartphone market and rival with numerous other devices which are being offered in the same price-range.

Going by the specs, the latest Aqua i5 HD comes with a 5-inch OGS display with an HD resolution. It is powered by 1.2GHz quad core processor and Mali 400 GPU coupled with 1GB of RAM. It runs on older Android, Jelly Bean version 4.2.2. The handset houses 4GB of internal storage capacity which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. There is a 13MP rear camera with auto focus and LED flash. You will also find a 5MP front facing shooter in the handset.
Connectivity options are regular in the handset with the inclusion of Bluetooth, 3G, WiFi and it is a Dual SIM handset obviously. The 8.5mm thick handset is powered by a 2,000mAh battery and it will be available in Black And White color options.

Intex has offered a 13MP rear camera with auto focus and LED flash and the company has used smart features like capturing an image by simply saying cheese or capture. Also the 5MP front facing rear shooter has been used for HD video calling and taking selfies.
