Intex Aqua i5 Octa With 5 Inch Display, 13MP Camera Launched for Rs 7,499
Adding a new member to the Aqua range, Intex has launched a new smartphone - the Aqua i5 Octa. The newly launched handset is powered by an octa-core processor with integrated 3G connectivity. The smartphone will be made available for ecommerce site Amazon. It is priced at Rs. 7,499.
The Aqua i5 Octa sports a 5-inch qHD display with a clear resolution. The phone will be made available in Black, White and Blue colors.

Powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core processor and 1GB of RAM, the handset comes with 8GB of native storage and a microSD card slot that supports cards of up to 32GB. The phone runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the box. The Aqua i5 Octa features a 13MP rear-facing camera with LED flash, and 5MP front-facing camera.
The dual-SIM smartphone supports 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity options. The makers have added a large battery which saves 20% power by CABC technology.

What ideally turns the tide in our favor is the market boost that we intend on getting with a launch such as this. By unveiling this handset, we would like to believe that our quest to be seen as a brand that is financially accessible and technologically progressive is on the verge of nearing its completion," said Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, Mobile Business Head, Intex Technologies, in a press statement.
Last week, Intex launched the Aqua Power smartphone with a 4,000mAh battery inside and claims to deliver 18 hours of talk time while using 3G and 30 hours of talk time for 2G, 600 hours on standby and charges within 2.5 hours. The device is now available for purchase at Rs. 8,444.
