Intex Aqua Style 2: Quad Core Successor To Launch on April 15 Followed By 3 More Phones
In March itself, GizBot informed you that India based tech firm Intex is aiming to capture bigger chunk of the mobile space with planned announcement of affordable dual core smartphones and is indeed working on a successor to the recently launched Aqua Style, which will debut sometime in April.
Well, now reports are swirling in the tech space that the homegrown handset vendor is all geared up to launch the handset on April 15.
In the first report itself, GizBot informed that Intex is prepping a Micromax Canvas HD contentder, which will boast a quad core processor. However now, numerous reports have informed that Aqua Style successor - Intex Aqua Style 2 will come featuring 4.5-inch IPS display, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, 512 MB of RAM, qHD resolution of 540x960 pixel, 1.3-megapixel front camera, 8-megapixel rear camera, 2GB of internal storage expandable upto 32GB using microSD card and 1,800mAh battery.

In a exclusive interview with GizBot, Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, General Manager - Mobile Business and official spokesperson at Intex Technologies, opened up, "We are aggressively working on quad core with different specs ranging from HD display to high memory capacity and powerful camera and are planning our first quad core based phone in April followed by complete range in different display sizes."
While the manufacturer is setting up for the April launch of its new phablet, the company's spokesperson also revealed that Intex is also in plans to launch a couple of budget handsets in the coming months.
This is what the manufacturer has to say, "Our major focus is to make smartphone more affordable. Secondly we will offer bigger screen models at further better price. We are planning another 3-4 models between the price range of Rs 5000-9000."
