Intex, one of the fast evolving Indian mobile phone manufacturer has recently launched their latest entry level smartphone called Cloud X3 at a humble price of Rs. 3,790. Perhaps, it seems Intex is also taking keen interest on the low end devices after offering their latest mid range smartphone Aqua I-5.
Intex Cloud X3 comes with a 3.5-inch capacitive multi-touch display offering a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. The handset is powered by a 1GHz dual-core Cortex A7 processor and Mediatek MT6572 chipset along with the support of 256MB RAM.
The latest budget friendly handset from Intex runs on Android Jelly Bean version 4.2. Getting the 4.2 Android device is such price is pretty surprising and hardly any device falls falls in its category.
The Intex Cloud X3 is a dual-SIM phone and apart from that the connectivity options include Wi-Fi, FM, GPS and Bluetooth options.
Although there is only a presence of 115MB of internal storage capacity but thanks to the expandable memory slot which supports up to 32GB.
The Android handset comes packed with a 2-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front facing camera, and offers support for audio and video recording. The handset also comes equipped with gravity and motion sensors.
Eventually the phone is powered by a 1,450mAh battery which gives up to 6 hours of talk-time and up to 200 hours of standby time.
It is available in white and black colors at Rs 3,790 on various retail store from today onwards, but so far it has not landed on online retails.
However looking at the market there is a tough competition going on. Thus it is pretty sure that this entry level Cloud X3 will face its share of rivalry. Devices like, Nokia Asha 206, Micromax Bolt A27, Micromax Bolt A35, Karbonn A1+ and we can take the Nokia Asha 210 as well.

Nokia Asha 206
The phone comes with a 1.3 MP rear camera with video recording at 15 fps. There is a 2.4 inches LCD QVGA display with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels while supporting 65K colors. The handset is a dual GSM SIM handset with an alphanumeric keypad. The phone runs on Nokia's old Symbian Series 40 OS.
The Nokia Asha 206 comes with an internal memory of 64 MB which can be extended to another 32 GB with the help of a microSD Card. The phone supports GPRS, EDGE, WAP and Bluetooth connectivity. The phone also comes with Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, Google Talk, Twitter, Facebook and many other social networking apps. The Lithium Ion battery has a capacity of 1110 mAh and can support a Standby Time of 680 hours on 2G. it also provides about 20 hours of Talk Time on 2G.
The handset is currently priced at Rs. 3,655.
Micromax Bolt A27
The A27 comes with a 3.5 inch TFT LCD display with HVGA resolution and a color depth of 65 K. The handset runs on Android v2.3.5 (Gingerbread) with a 1 GHz single core processor backed by 256 MB RAM.
There is a 0.3 primary camera on the phone that supports video recording and when it comes to storage capacity, it comes with an internal storage capacity of 160 MB that can be expanded up to 16 GB with a microSD card and gives you a battery backup of 4 hours talk time on any 2G network as well with the 1400 mAh battery. Apart from the Dual SIM (GSM + GSM), the phone also supports GPRS and Wi-Fi and can be tethered via a Wi-Fi, Hotspot or through the microUSB port as well. It sports bluetooth connectivity as well.
The handset is available for buying at Rs. 3,740.
Nokia Asha 210
Nokia Asha 210 is a handset that features a smaller 2.4-inch LCD Transmissive QVGA display with color depth of 64 K. There is a 2 megapixel primary camera with a 1600 x 1200 pixel resolution which comes with a voice guidance that can help you click a great self-portrait for your next display picture.
Yhe handset runs on Nokia Series 40 OS and comes with 32 MB RAM and VOIP Support. A 1200 mAh battery gives up to 12 hours of talk time on a 2G network. There is a 64 MB internal storage capacity that is expandable up to 32 GB with a microSD card ensures that you have ample space for everything you will need on the phone. Apart from being a Dual SIM (GSM + GSM) handset, connectivity options include, GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi, USB and Bluetooth.
Currently the handset is available at Rs. 4,499.
Micromax Bolt A35
The A35 sports a with a 4 Inches TFT Capacitive display with 480 x 800 Pixels resolution and a color depth of 65 K. The handset runs on Android v2.3.5 (Gingerbread) with a 1 GHz Cortex-A5 processor backed by 256 MB RAM.
There is a 2 Megapixel rear camera along with a 0.3 primary camera on the phone that supports video recording and when it comes to storage capacity, it comes with an internal storage capacity of 160 MB that can be expanded up to 16 GB with a microSD card and gives you a battery backup of 4 hours talk time on any 2G network with the Li-Ion 1500 mAh battery. Karbonn A1+ comes with a 3.5-inch Capacitive Multi-touch display offering the resolution of 320 x 480 Pixels. The handset runs on Android v2.3 (Gingerbread) OS and is powered by a 1 GHz Processor and 256 MB RAM. The handset comes with a 3 MP HD Primary Camera and a VGA front facing shooter as well. There is a 165 MB internal storage capacity which can be increased to 32 GB via microSD card. Apart from dual SIM support, the handset also supports GPRS, EDGE, Wfi, WAP, USB and Bluetooth. The handset is powered by a 1500 mAh battery which gives 4 hrs (2G) talktime and 240 hrs (2G) standby time and is currently selling at Rs. 3,650.
