Intex Officially Releases First Firefox Smartphone Cloud FX at Rs 1,999
Intex is set to bring over a whole new ecosystem for all the smartphone users in India. And accordingly, the company has officially launched its first ever Firefox-powered handset called the Cloud FX in India.
The new handset from Intex will now strive to deliver all that's good in the Firefox OS ecosystem. That being said, the Firefox OS has the ability to learn and adapt from the user. Users can also make use of the adaptive app search feature that will offer you instant access to apps.

Apart from that, the Firefox OS is packed with the features that made you want a smartphone in the first place. It fits your life perfectly so you can fit in with the world around you.
The Cloud FX is primarily a budget offering. The handset has very basic specs that are only fitting for a handset that starting off a new ecosystem. Maybe the company is waiting a bit to see how the users respond before coming with a handset running the same ecosystem, but will better hardware.

Intex Cloud FX: Highlighted Specs
Made available at Rs. 1,999, the new Intex Cloud FX offers a 3.5-inch HVGA (320x480 pixel) capacitive display. The handset runs on a 1GHz processor coupled with 128MB of RAM. It features a 2-megapixel rear camera, although a front facing camera is missing.
The Intex Cloud FX weighs in at 104 grams, and has dimensions of 115.9x62.11.8mm. The handset sports a 1250mAh battery, which the company promises will deliver up to 4 hours of talk time and a standby time of 200 hours.
Other specifications of the Intex Cloud FX include 46MB of built-in storage, with support for microSD cards (up to 4GB). Connectivity options include GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, Bluetooth, FM radio, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
