iPhone 5S With Fingerprint Sensor And Smart Flash Set for July Launch: 10 Possible Concepts Designs

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities is famous for predicting Apple's hardware launches. The analyst has predicted that Apple will announce iPhone 5S along with a low-cost handset molded out out of fiberglass and plastic, by July 2013.

The Analyst says iPhone 5S will house a number of next-generation Apple technologies including a faster A7 SoC, a Smart Flash that uses white or yellow LEDs to produce high-quality photos, an AuthenTec fingerprint sensor. The samrtphone will stick to thin aluminum chassis the same as the one found in iPhone 5 and might include a slightly larger 1600mAh battery.

Kuo predicts the low-cost handset will come with a fiberglass and plastic- casing, which would be slightly heavier then the standard aluminum build. The device is said to come with LTE connectivity. The analyst says the smatphone is likely to cost more then other low-budget phones and therefore LTE data capability might be a selling point for the device.

Kuo suggests that the new iPhone models compatible with China Mobile's TDD networks, which cover TD-SCDMA and TD-DLTE will be expected after September. China Mobile's TDD iPhone could account for 28 percent of iPhone shipments for Q2 of 2013.

According to Appleinsider reports, during a recent trip to China, Apple CEO Tim Cook reportedly met with the Chinese telecom, though the meeting's discussions remain confidential.

Kuo forecasts, the flagship iPhone 5S will ship more than 21.5 million units by the end of Q4 of this year, while the lesser model is expected to reach 34 million units, at the same time.
