Cupertino-based tech giant Apple, as rumors suggest, is pretty close to revealing its next iPhone offering - iPhone 6 - that's already expected to offer far more than its predecessors. And although there's nothing substantial to share for the currently rumored device, it seems like the next iPhone is already making a name for itself via the numerous rumors that are currently making rounds on the web.

As of now, a number of theories regarding the new Apple-made smartphone have already been revealed which deal with the device's overall looks, display and a few internal features that, if true, could certainly mark a benchmark for all others looking to offer some kind of competition to the Apple-made next generation smartphone.

So let's take a look at everything that we know about the smartphone as of now -

While we are yet to come across anything related to a solid display size for the device, it seems like a number of analysts are speculating that iPhone 6's display design has been locked to a larger 4.8-inch display.

Revealed via analyst Timothy Arcuri of Cowen and Company, while issuing a note related to the same to the investors, it was claimed that the device's design has already been finalized by Apple, the information about which was passed down by an unnamed source in the supply chain, Apple Insider reported.

And while this is a comparatively new revelation related to the device, the possibility of a large screen size has been in news for quite some time. Back in September last year, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities, one of the most respected figures in this respect, said that the company is likely to launch a larger iPhone in 2014, although the device will not exceed 5 inches since Apple focuses on the principles of one hand use for a smartphone.

Previous to this, Apple was already rumored to bring out not one, but two iPhone models this year. And although everything is in a rumored state and has to be taken in with a pinch of salt, it was also revealed that the new iPhone models could arrive with some sort of biometric sensors, with Apple's iPhone 5S being the first to feature built-in finger print sensor.

Apart from all that, the new Apple phone is also said to arrive with thinner bezels and narrower bezel. And although we repeat, yet again, that nothing has been finalized, the Apple device could arrive with an updated A8-processor, with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing's (TSM) 20-nanometer processors.

Any new Apple device, especially a brand new iPhone, goes through a number of official and unofficial reports suggesting what could be and what could have been on the slightest indication regarding the existence of the same, and we are guessing a lot more, hopefully solid, information will be revealed in the coming days.
