Karbonn Launches A35, A90, A99 and A16 Smartphones in India Starting at Rs 5,490

Targeting Diwali, Karbonn has just launched its 4 new handsets in India in an affordable price range. The devices come dubbed as Karbonn A35, Karbonn A90, Karbonn A99 and Karbonn A16. However, the first two handsets only feature 2G connectivity while the latter two handsets support 3G networks.

Karbonn has also recently launched Karbonn A12+ which is already selling on Flipkart at Rs. 4,999. Moreover, the four new handsets, targeted to hit as many consumers as possible in India, offers the consumers essential mobility solutions like crystal-clear display screen, heavy duty battery life, expendable memory storage, brilliant camera output, high-performance processor power, ease-of-usage and connectivity avenues, all at an affordable price point.

Just a couple of days ago, Karbonn had list most these devices on its official website and now the handsets are already available on various online retail stores. However, previously seen Karbonn A18+ is yet to get released.

Karbonn has been bringing out a lot of handsets in the budget range category at the moment. If one looks at the specs of all the handsets that have been officially launched today, one can see that these devices come with a pretty similar specs. The differences are not much as they fall in the same range.

However, lets take a look at the specs of the new Karbonn handsets along with A12+ which just became available on Flipkart.

Karbonn A16

The Karbonn A16 comes with a 3.9 inch WVGA capacitive screen with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. It is powered by Android Jelly Bean v4.2 and is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-coreMediaTek MT6572 processor with Mali 400 GPU. It is also supported by 512 MB RAM.

The handset comes with 5 MP rear camera with LED flash and there is also a presence of 0.3MP (VGA) front-facing camera. There is a 4GB internal storage capacity which can be expanded up to 32GB using microSD card. When it comes to connectivity users will get to see 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, micro USB support in the device. Apart from that it is a Dual SIM handset (GSM + GSM) with Dual Standby.
The handset draws its power from 1350 mAh battery.
The Karbonn A16 is also enabled with Hungama My Play app which offers 1 month unlimited access to Hungama content delivering the latest music and videos to your device.

The Karbonn A16 features Easy-to-Use Notification Panel as well. Other important features of Karbonn A16 include Outlook E-mails, G-Sensor, Google Play Store, Karbonn Live, Whatsapp, Office Suite and much more. The Karbonn A16 is priced at Rs. 6,490.

Karbonn A99

The Karbonn A99 comes with 3.97-inch capacitive touch screen IPS display offering a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. It is powered by 1.3 GHz dual-core processor and runs on the same Android Jelly Bean v4.2 OS. It also features 512MB RAM.

This device also features 5 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3MP (VGA) front-facing camera. Connectivity options include 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and micro USB and there is also a presence of Dual SIM support (GSM + GSM) with Dual Standby. Internal storage capacity is at 4GB but it can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.

The Karbonn A99 comes with an Intuitive User Interface, Outlook E-mails, Wi-Fi, GPS Navigation, Hungama My Play, Google App Suite, Karbonn Live, Whatsapp, Office Suite and much more. The Karbonn A99 is priced at Rs.6590.

Karbonn A35

Karbonn A35 is a big-screen smartphone which features 5.0 inch IPS multi touch capacitive display and offers a qHD resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. It is powered by a 1GHz Dual Core Processor coupled with 512MB RAM and runs on a bit older Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) OS.

Talking about camera, the smartphone features 5MP auto focus rear camera with LED flash and also houses a 2MP front facing shooter.

There is a 4GB of inbuilt storage capacity which can be expanded up to 32GB using microSD card slot.
Apart from being a dual SIM handset, the handset features GPRS, WiFi, Bluetooth and MicroUSB and it is powered by 1800 mAH battery.

When it comes to features of the handset, there is an Intuitive User Interface (Notification Panel), Outlook E-mails, Wi-Fi, Hungama My Play, Google App Suite, Karbonn Live, Whatsapp, Office Suite along and much more. The Karbonn A35 is priced at Rs.7,490 and will be available in Black- Silver and White - Silver color variants.

Karbonn A90

The Karbonn A90 comes with a 4-inch IPS Capacitive Touchscreen display. It is powered by 1 GHz Processor coupled with 512 MB RAM. However, the handset runs on older version of Android Ice Cream Sandwich v4.0. There is a 5 MP rear camera which comes along with a flash and a stylish flip cover. There is also a front facing VGA shooter.

Other utility features of the device include Dual SIM, Intuitive User Interface, Notification Panel), Outlook E-mails, Wi-Fi, Google App Suite, Karbonn Live, and much more. The handset draws its power from 1400 mAh battery and it is priced at Rs. 5490.

Karbonn A12+

Karbonn A12+ specifications 4.0-inch capacitive touch screen display and si powered by 1.3 GHz dual-core processor, Dual SIM (GSM + GSM) with Dual Standby, Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS 5 MP rear camera with LED flash 0.3MP (VGA) front-facing camera, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, micro USB 512 MB RAM, 4GB of internal memory (1.24 GB user memory), 32GB expandable memory with microSD and 1400 mAh battery. It is priced at Rs 4,999.
