Indian handset manufacturer, Karbonn has released a new entry level smartphone, which is now available on Indiatimes Shopping. Codenamed Karbonn S15, it comes in Black and White variant. Moreover, it supports 3G connectivity, quad-core processor, and comes with Android KitKat 4.4.

Karbonn S15 - Key Specifications

Karbonn S15, sports a 4.0-inch capacitive touch screen display with a resolution of 480 × 800 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor along with 512MB RAM. On the storage, it comes with 4GB of internal memory, with an expansion of up to 32GB via microSD card.

Moving to the imaging factor, it features 3.2MP rear camera with LED flash, 0.3MP front facing camera and runs on Android KitKat 4.4 OS out of the box. Coming to the KitKat 4.4, it has features like Hangouts App Upgraded, Improved Google Now, Better Memory Management, Smarter Caller ID, Immersive Mode, Integration With Cloud Storage, Printing On The Go, Built-In Sensors, System-Wide Closed Captioning, Lock Screen Art.

There are a number of other new features included in KitKat, such as low-power location monitoring, easy home screen switching, built-in infrared blaster support and a redesigned downloads app. Moreover, the improved memory management is particularly a added feature, which makes this update one of the coolest.
