Karbonn Titanium Hexa To Be Sold By Amazon At Rs 16,990

Back in March, Karbonn announced its first hexa-core CPU powered smartphone called the Titanium Hexa but was not released then. Now the second best Indian smartphone brand has announced to sell the handset exclusively via third-party ecommerce partner Amazon at the price of Rs. 16,990. The company said that the handset will be set out for pre-order from tomorrow but the exact availability of the handset still remains to be a mystery.

Karbonn Titanium Hexa To Be Sold By Amazon At Rs 16,990

The Karbonn-Amazon partnership doesn't end here but according to the deal the latter will also pre-load the company's shopping app on Karbonn's upcoming smartphones. The first smartphones to be released with the app are Titanium Hexa, Octane and Octane Plus.

If you are not aware of the specs of the handset, the Karbonn Titanium Hexa comes with a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD LTPS display. This scratch resistant display has Oleophobic coating as well for preventing accumulation of fingerprints.

It is powered by a 1.5 GHz hexa-core MediaTek MT6591 processor coupled with 2GB RAM and it runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS.

The Titanium Hexa has a 13MP auto focus camera with LED Flash rear camera and a 5 megapixel front facing shooter as well.

Internal storage capacity is seated at 16GB and it is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. Coonnectivity options include 3G HSPA+ (up to 42.2 Mbps), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS and USB OTG.

The smartphone which measures 154×76.8×6.9 mm draws its energy from a massive 2050 mAh battery. On the sensor front it has G-sensor, proximity sensor, light sensor, Gyro sensor and magnetic sensor.

The smartphone looks pretty potential to rival against most of the mid-range handsets from Samsung, LG and Sony. Moreover, Chinese smartphones like Gionee, Huawei and others will also be standing against Karbonn's latest offering.
