Micromax has already launched its latest budget-friendly Windows Phone devices in India today and its most potential native rival Karbonn is still soaring in the Android eco-system. And yet again Karbonn has launched its latest Titanium S9 Lite smartphone at the price of Rs. 8,990. The company is offering the handset in Black and White color variants via online retailer Snapdeal.
If you are not aware, this is a variant of the company's last year's Titanium S9 smartphone. It has a 5.5-inch qHD IPS display offering a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels.
It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor coupled with 512 MB RAM and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS.
The stripped down version of the Titanium S9 is also an average imaging device as it features an 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED Flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
Native storage capacity is seated at 4GB but it is expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card slot. You will also get connectivity options like 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS. Moreover, it is a handset with dual SIM (GSM + GSM) support with dual standby. It is powered by a 2100 mAh battery.
The smartphone is pretty decent given the fact that it is offered in such a less price. However, since there are several handsets that are available in the market with the latest version of Android OS in them, the latest one from Karbonn will have to face a bit of a hardship.
To be precise, its direct rival devices would be Lava Iris X1, Moto G and Moto E as well. Apart from that there are smartphones like Micromax Canvas Unite 2, Canvas Engage and also Xolo Q600s and Celkon A35K would be Karbonn Titanium S9 Lite's rivals.
