Karbonn Titanium S9 which was announced back in July this year, has finally landed on online stores in India at Rs. 17,990. The handset was announced at the same time when Micromax launched its popular Canvas 4 phablet in the Indian market. Both these handsets fall in the same price category and even the specs can be found similar in both these devices. Thus the closest rival to the Titanium S9 is no other than the Canvas 4.
Lets take a closer look at the specs of the Karbonn Titanium S9:
The handset comes with a 5.5 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display offering a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and a 267 ppi pixel density.
Processor, RAM and OS
Similar to Micromax Canvas 4, the Titanium S9 also comes with a competitive Quad-core processor clocked to 1.2 GHz coupled with 1GB of RAM. The handset runs on Android v4.2 (Jelly Bean).
Very much similar to the Canvas 4, the phablet also features a 13 MP rear camera which can shoot pictures at 4128 x 3096 pixels and comes with autofocus and LED flash. There is also a 5MP front facing shooter.
Moving on to the connectivity section, Karbonn Titanium S9 supports GPRS, SPEED, WLAN, WiFi, Bluetooth, USB and 3G. Obviously the device comes with a Dual SIM ((GSM + GSM) support like other domestic handsets.
Karbonn Titanium S9 houses a 16GB internal storage capacity which can be further enhanced up to 32GB by using a microSD card slot.
The handset draws its energy from a 2600 mAh Li-Ion battery.
Looking at the specs, the device is fully loaded with premium specs except for the FHD display which is missing. However, the price does play a huge role in the incorporation the specs in a handset. Moreover, even the Canvas 4 comes with a HD display. Thus overlooking the display might help when it comes to this price point.
Apart from these, GizBot has also come up with a number of offers available on the handset in India. Take a look at the sliders below for prices and offers on the handset.
