Karbonn Unveils Titanium S99 at Rs 5,990: Budget Android Kitkat Smartphone Takes on Moto E
In an attempt to widen its market, home grown player Karbonn today launched its budget Android 4.4 Kitkat smart phone, Titanium S99. The phone costs Rs. 5,990.
With the Titanium S99, Karbonn has become one of the few handset manufacturers to launch insanely affordable smart phones running on the latest version of Google's Android mobile OS. The Karbonn Titanium S99 will take on the current market hot shots, notably, the Motorola Moto E, Micromax Unite 2 A106 and Lava Iris X1.

Karbonn Titanium S99 - Highlighted Specifications
The device, Titanium S99, sports a 4-inch IPS display. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, coupled with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of on-board storage, which can be later expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card slot.
On the imaging front, the handset features a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with an LED Flash, and a VGA quality front-facing camera. The device runs on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat out-of-the-box.
The connectivity options on the Titanium S99 included are 3G, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM Radio and offers dual-sim support. The low-end phone will be available in Black and White color options.

It provides all-in-one solution to user's communication needs by providing upgraded Hangouts App supported with improved SMS & MMS integration. In addition, Android KitKat includes a variety of new features like Smarter Caller ID, faster multitasking, low-power location monitoring, , redesigned downloads app and easy home screen switching to name a few. Just last week, Karbonn introduced two low-end handsets to register its presence felt in the affordable Indian handset market. The Karbonn A99i, which comes with a 4-inch display and a dual-core processor, can be purchased online for Rs. 4,787. The Karbonn Titanium S1 Plus, on the other hand, features a quad-core processor and a decent 1500mAh battery inside. The device will cost you Rs. 6,490.
