A couple of days ago, Lava launched its latest Iris X1 handset at Rs. 7,999. Now the company has released another handset called the Lava Iris 3G 415 via online retail site eBay at the price of Rs. 5,249.
Unlike the former one, which comes loaded with Android KitKat OS and quad core processor for better performance, the Lava Iris 3G 415 is an entry level 3G phone.
This particular handset from Lava is very affordable but can't stand against devices like the newly launched handsets like Micromax Unite 2, Canvas Engage and the hot selling Moto E. But Lava's Iris X1 surely does.
Talking about the specs of the entry-level Lava Iris 3G 415, it comes with a 4-inch capacitive touch screen display offering a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels.
It is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor coupled with 512 MB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) OS out of the box.
Imaging aspect of the handset is taken care of by a 5MP rear camera and a 0.3MP (VGA) auto-facing shooter used in the handset.
Lava has used a 4GB native memory of which only 1.79 GB is user accessible. But it can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.
At the given price point, Lava Iris 3G 415 amazingly, the company has offered a 3G connectivity. Apart from that, you will also get Bluetooth with A2DP, Wi-Fi and GPS/A-GPS options. Obviously, the phones comes with a Dual SIM (GSM + GSM) support with Dual Standby. It is powered by a 1500 mAh battery.
