Desi manufacturer, Lava International Limited, has launched its latest camera-centric smartphone in an event today. Dubbed as 'Icon' it comes with premium metallic look, glass finish on the back panel and a customized Star OS.
Moreover, Icon comes Blue glass filter, which protects the sensitive image sensor against over exposure in the infrared wavelength range.

Lava Icon, sports a 5-inch HD IPS display with Asahi Dragon-Trail glass offering resistance against the scratches. This device is clocked at 1.3GHz Quad-core ARM Mali 400 MP2 processor along with 2GB RAM under the hood.
Moving to the storage of the device, it comes with 16GB of expandable memory,with an expansion slot of up to 32GB via microSD card slot. On the dimension, it sports a metallic look with 7.7mm thickness.
Moreover, on the imaging factors, it flaunts a 13MP rear camera, featuring SONY EXMOR sensor, F2.0 aperture, 5P lens for low light photography, better color reproduction, Blue glass filter. The Icon's camera is capable of capturing 27% more light under low light conditions.
And Icon comes with 5MP front snapper with Omni vision sensor, featuring F2.4 aperture and 4P lens. On the software front, it is shipped with Android 4.4 KitKat on top of Star OS out of the box. With this OS, users can add a variety of customizable gestures like drawing shortcuts functions.
However, on the connectivity, Icon supports 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro-USB and it is powered by a 2500mAh Li-Pol battery which allows up to 20 hrs of talk time on 2G and up to 9 hrs of talk time on 3G.
Priced at Rs. 11,990, Icon is available on selected retail stores across India and exclusively on the e-retail store Snapdeal from April 9th. Moreover, users will be getting the free selfie stick those who are ordering from Snapdeal.
