Xfab 2 Mini - Competition to Lava Iris 501?

The NXG offering has all the specs are the present in the budget phablets alongside some advanced ones as well. Hence, the Xfab 2 Mini can be a stiff competitor to the recently launched handsets in the phablet space.

One such device - Lava Iris 501, which was launched early this month is also a dual core phablet with a price tag of Rs 9,999.

As far as specs are concerned, Iris 501 sports a 5 inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, 1GHz dual core processor, Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, 5MP rear camera, 0.3MP front camera for video calling, 4GB internal storage, micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB expandable storage support, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, micro USB 2.0 and a 2,300 mAh Li-Po battery of undisclosed backup.

Comparing both the phablets, with a better front and rear camera, slightly faster processor and Android Jelly Bean OS, NXG Xfab 2 Mini could be a sitff competitor to Lava Iris 501, which retails at a lesser price tag.
