Lava Iris Alfa: Entry-Level Smartphone With 5 Inch Display Launched in India at Rs 6,550
Lava International, a popular domestic handset maker, has launched its newest entry-level smartphone in India. Lava Iris Alfa, which will be made available on eBay.in starting January 19, seems to be yet another Android-powered phone with above average specifications. The Iris Alfa is priced at Rs. 6,550.
As far as the handset's specs are concerned, the Lava Iris Alfa sports a 5-inch FWVGA display with a resolution of 480x854 pixels. The device measures he phone measures 141x71.4x9.2mm and weighs 156gram.

Under the hood is a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, paired with 1GB RAM, 8GB of native storage and a microSD card storage (up to 32GB). The makers have added a 2,200mAh battery fitted inside, which the company claims to offer up to 22.7 hours of talk time on 2G on a single charge.
The budget phone runs Android 4.4 KitKat with FOTA (firmware over the air) support, and comes bundled with Truecaller, Hungama Music app and Adaptxt keyboard that supports 11 Indian regional languages.
In the camera department, the Alfa features a 5-megaopixel rear-facing camera with single LED flash and a VGA front camera. The camera also support full HD video recording.
The handset comes with an array of connectivity options: 3G, Wi-Fi, Dual-SIM, Bluetooth 2.1, FM Radio and more.
