Lava Iris N320 Launched at Rs 3,999: Will the New Dual SIM Android Smartphone Outperform Micromax Ninja 3 A57?

Lava the India based smartphone vendor that carries the credit of being the first company to launch Intel based smartphone seems to be on an aggressive spree in releasing low cost smartphones this year in the Indian market.

 

After the launch of Xolo 900 and Iris N350, today the company has launched one more dual SIM Android smartphone in the market, dubbed by the name of Lava Iris N320 at a price tag of Rs 3,999. Lets take a detailed look at the specs and features of the new budget smartphone.

 

Main Specs

Display: Iris N320 has a 3.5 inch capacitive multi-touch display with 320 x 480 pixel resolution.

Processor: The handset is powered by a single-core 1GHz processor under its hood.

OS: Being a sub Rs 5,000 handset, Iris N320 is based on Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread OS, which is an older version of the platform.

Camera: The dual SIM handset has a 2MP rear camera with LED flash and lacks a front facing camera for video calling purpose.

Storage: In terms of storage, the Lava offering comes with 100MB internal memory and a micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB additional storage. Moreover, the handset has 256MB RAM.

Connectivity: The handset is packed with features including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 and 2G.

Battery: Iris N320 is loaded with a 1,400 mAh battery of undisclosed backup.

Talking about Lava mobile success in the market sales and penetration, the company has already expanded its operations in all the states of India and has a network of 1,000 distributors and presence in more than 50,000 retail counters. At the same time, tech experts and consumers are also appreciating the smartphone range performance unveiled by Lava so far accompanied with budget price points.

But the main competitor standing in the market against Lava is Micromax, low cost smartphone vendor in India with a record of successful product launches.

As far as the success Lava Iris N320 is concerned, Micromax, standing rival Ninja 3 A57 has all the liked to create a conflict in the former sales figures.
