What About Competition?
Talking about Lava mobile success in the market sales and penetration, the company has already expanded its operations in all the states of India and has a network of 1,000 distributors and presence in more than 50,000 retail counters. At the same time, tech experts and consumers are also appreciating the smartphone range performance unveiled by Lava so far accompanied with budget price points.
But the main competitor standing in the market against Lava is Micromax, low cost smartphone vendor in India with a record of successful product launches.
As far as the success Lava Iris N320 is concerned, Micromax, standing rival Ninja 3 A57 has all the liked to create a conflict in the former sales figures.
The Micromax dual SIM budget Android Gingerbread smartphone offering sports a 3.5 inch multi-touch display with 320 x 480 pixel resolution, 1GHz Qualcomm processor, Android 2.3 5 Gingerbread operating system, 3MP rear camera, 256MB RAM, micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and USB 2.0 connectivity features and a 1,400 mAh Li-ion battery delivering 8.5 hours talk time and 177 hours standby.
Micromax Ninja 3 A57 has definitely got a favourable consumer response, however priced at Rs 4,750, it is costlier than the Lava offering, where, Iris N320 gets an upper hand.
