India-based mobile manufacturers have really been fueled with nitrous, as all of them are launching handsets in a vigorous manner. Soon after, Xolo launched their latest handset called A500S, Lava has posted a teaser on their popular Facebook fanpage touting their upcoming premium series - Lava Iris Pro.
Lava Mobiles have clamorously mentioned the Lava Iris Pro on the 15 seconds teaser video along with an image of the upcoming model. The video can be taken as a metaphor to the gesture control or smart control, which can be seen in the recently launched Moto X from Google.
Digging into the matter, when GizBot had a chat with one of the Lava officials, the source who choose to remain anonymous unmasked quite a few details about the upcoming series. The official keenly spoke about the Iris Pro and said that the series would consist of range of handsets, which the company would start announcing from as soon as next week or earlier. Also the source revealed, the Lava Iris Pro series would hit the Indian smartphone market by late August or by the first week of September 2013.
Not only that, but GizBot has been exclusively informed that Lava will launch the new series at a price ranging between Rs. 15,000 to about Rs. 20,000, while a couple of models could cost lower than the same.
Meanwhile, the official refuse to disclose any information on the number of handsets that will be offered under the series on the very first go.
Further detailing on to the specs, the official said Lava Iris Pro series would consist of handset which will belong to the premium segment incorporating all the latest specifications and features.
Also, looking at the teaser image, one can easily speculate the handset is coming to occupy the 5 inch phablet space, while other devices that will be revealed during the launch should come around and above 4 inch powered by a quad core processors.
It was also informed, that couple of handsets would arrive running on Android Jelly Bean version 4.2.1. Further, to talk about camera specs, the official hinted that the handsets would come featuring 5MP, 8MP or above shooter. Connectivity options will be a regular one with dual SIM support, 3G, Bluetooth and USB. Fans can also expect at least 1GB RAM and a decent internal storage capability. Meanwhile, there is currently no information on the battery power.
