Lava is betting big on its latest budget flagship available in the market dubbed as Iris X1. While, the handset is already available in the market at a price of Rs 7,999 with 4GB internal memory, the India-based mobile maker has come up with another variant of the same handset with 8GB storage, surprisingly at the same price.
For those who are interested to buy, let us inform, you will also get a microSD card slot to expand the memory up to 32GB. Meanwhile, the other specs of the phone will remain the same in the phone.
Lava Iris X1 8GB: Key Specifications
The latest upgraded Lava Iris X1 comes packed with a 4.5-inch capacitive touchscreen IPS display offering a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Broadcom BCM23550 processor with Videocore IV GPU coupled with 1GB RAM. It runs on Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) OS. In the imaging front, the device uses 8MP rear camera with BSI+ sensor and Dual LED Flash along with a 2MP front-facing snapper.
Obviously, the latest smarthone comes with an 8GB of internal memory with expandable memory up to 32GB with microSD. Connectivity opt5ions include 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS and additionally, you will also get a Dual SIM (Normal SIM + micro SIM) support with dual standby mode in the phone. The smartphone measures 134x66x8.9mm and 138 grams and comes with a battery pack of 1800 mAh.
It was reportedly said that the Lava Iris X1 is currently responsible for contributing 30% of sales in Lava brand's smartphone portfolio by volume.
