Desi manufacturer Lava has launched an budget smartphone under the Iris X1 series in the Indian market. Dubbed as Iris X1 Atom, it comes with the quad-core processor, and comes with some other features like Smart swipe a 4 way gesture/shortcut, Smart View that lets you use two fingers to rotate the images in gallery), Double Tap to Wake up, Active Shot to click photograph in one click and more.

Lava Iris X1 Atom - Key Specifications

Lava Iris X1 Atom, sports a 4-inch touch screen display with a resolution of 800 × 480 pixels. It is clocked at 1.5 GHz quad-core processor along with 512MB RAM.

Moreover, on the storage capacity it comes with 4GB of internal memory, with expandable memory of up to 32GB via microSD card slot.

Moving to the imaging factor, X1 Atom features a 5MP PureCel rear camera with LED flash, VGA front facing camera on board. This device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and it is upgradeable to Android 5.0 Lollipop.
