Lava L661 CDMA Feature Phone Launched for Rs 1,199
After launching two handsets called Iris 505 and Iris 506Q, just a day ago, MTS with a collaboration with Lava has now come up with a new handset and the telecom service provider has launched the same feature phone from Lava called L661 at a basic price of Rs. 1,199.

According to the collaboration, the handset will come along with unlimited talk plans from MTS. As of now the details on the plans and tariffs have not been disclosed by the company.
To talk about Lava L661, it is a CDMA phone which comes with a 1.8-inch TFT display and will be available in three colors: Black, Blue and White. However, not to ignore, the basic handset also features an MP3 player, and storage expandability up to 4GB via microSD card slot and speaker phone facility. Moreover, the handset can also make conference calls. It is powered by a 1000mAh battery.
MTS have already using handsets from Lava like Lava ARC8c and Lava KKT31c both of which are basic handsets. Apart from Lava, Micromax and Intex has also had been in the collaboration with the telecom service provider. When it comes to its own handset, MTS already has a handful of handsets which include: MTS Striker C131, MTS Striker C132, MTS Striker C121, MTS Striker C122, MTS Striker F121 and any more.
When it comes to Lava, the manufacturer is also due to launch its Iris Pro smartphone soon in Indian Market.
