After the launch of two new budget smartphones in the Indian market, Indian based smartphone vendor Lava who launched Xolo 900 recently is now all geared up to unveil its new smartphone dubbed as Lava XOLO A700. The information was first revealed by Lava Xolo's Facebook fanpage, when on Friday, the company posted the message saying, “Something new, something exciting. Do twice more in a blink! A powerful new device is coming to all you XOLO fans. Stay tuned to find out all about it!”
Following that, today the company posted a teasing picture of the upcoming smartphone, asking people to guess the handset'snumber of CPU cores and the RAM size. Reportedly, the soon-to-be-unveiled handset is Lava XOLO A700, which has already come up on the online retailer Infibeam site with a “coming soon” tag.
Regarding the specifications of the upcoming XOLO A700, the smartphone will come boasting a 4.5 inch (960 x 540 pixels) 16M color capacitive touch screen IPS display with 245 ppi, 1GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6577 processor, 512 MB RAM, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, 5MP auto focus rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera, 720p video recording, 4GB of internal memory, expandable memory up to 32GB with microSD, 3G (HSPA 7.2Mbps) , WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v2.1, aGPS, 3.5 mm audio jack and 1700 mAh battery.
Further, the handset will be supporting Dual SIM (3G + 2G) technology with no information detailed on the price and the release date of the handset.
