Lava Xolo A700: Dual SIM Dual Core Android ICS Smartphone Now Available on Flipkart and Infibeam at Rs 9,999

After the teaser post on Xolo Facebook fanpage following the listing on Infibeam, Lava has finally launched Android ICS dual SIM smartphone – Xolo A700 in India today. Priced at Rs 9,999, the smartphone is available at online retailers including Flipkart, where the smartphone will be shipped in 6-8 days to consumers, and also Infibeam, which is offering the handset at a discount of Rs 100 than the market price.

Lately, Xolo Facebook page has asked the visitors to guess the pixel density of the new Xolo smartphone claiming that “The big reveal is almost here! In the final minutes before we launch the new XOLO smart phone, can you guess the Pixels per inch of the screen?”

However, here are the confirmed specs from the listing. Xolo A700 will feature a 4.5 inch IPS capacitive touchscreen display with 960 x 540 pixel resolution, 1GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6577 processor, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, 5MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, VGA front facing camera for video chatting, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage and expandable memory option up to 32GB via microSD card.

The handset will come packed with connectivity features including 3G HSPA 7.2Mbps, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v2.1, aGPS and micro USB 2.0 and will be loaded with a 1,700 mAh battery. Also, the handset will support dual SIM feature (3G + 2G).
